Hello! This section is about me. My name is Kate and I love cooking gluten-free, vegan food. I feel it is important to spread the vegan message for the animals, our health and the environment. Furthermore I believe animals deserve to be treated with compassion and have a right to live a long, happy, free life. Therefore I created my blog Kate’s Vegan Cooking to inspire people to go vegan with my tasty vegan recipes!
My Journey
During my 3 year illness with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I visited a Naturopathic Nutritionist and after a few weeks of altering my diet I had a lot more energy. I continued to improve my diet and went on to make a full recovery. After a gradual transition, I am now 100% vegan and in good health!
This experience inspired me to train as a Nutritionist so I can teach people how to use food to improve their health. I am now a qualified Nutritional Therapist having studied for 3 years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
